As a journalist, Roger has worked for all the major networks while covering some of the most impactful stories of our time. He has interviewed everyone from every living Beatle to every living U.S. President.
A decade ago, Roger transitioned from storyteller to the subject of national news when he became the spokesperson, first for the Colorado Department of Corrections and then of the Colorado Attorney General. Later he would be the spokesperson for a dozen gubernatorial and congressional races.
Recently, Roger returned to his television roots and was named Director of Programing for the politically charged television network Real America’s Voice.
Roger now owns and operates several highly successful mass media companies -- each delivering a different communication consulting service for a unique high-end client.
Receiving his undergraduate degree in communications and business management, Roger graduated from the University of Alaska. Later he would receive his J.D. from the University of California – Davis.

The Hudson family made Castle Pines their forever home in 2013 after returning to Colorado from Houston, Texas. There was never another location but Castle Pines up for consideration. They knew this was the community they wanted to make their home.
In 2017, after much thought and prayer Roger choose to run for Castle Pines city council for one reason – to ensure Castle Pines remained a safe wonderful place to live and raise children -- while protecting open spaces, managing growth, and keeping government small, transparent, and fiscally responsible.
Roger has fought and won this fight but still has more work to do. Councilman Hudson is a board member of a half a dozen high profile nonprofits and charities that include Economic Literacy Colorado and Castle Rock Adventist Hospital.
